OUR STORY
Hope Valley Church is rooted in a deep desire to reach the diverse community of Mississauga with the hope of Jesus Christ. Our journey began when Pastor Phil and his family were called by the Lord to move from the United States to Canada. With a heart for serving others and sharing the Gospel, we are committed to building a Christ-centred, prayerful, and missional church that will bring the light of Jesus to our neighbours and to the nations. We eagerly anticipate the official launch of Hope Valley Church on March 30th, and are excited to see how God will work for His glory through this new ministry.
Our Mission
Hope Valley Church exists to glorify God by sharing the HOPE of Jesus with our neighbors.

Our Vision

We are BIBLICAL.
For the glory of God we prioritize the preaching and teaching of the Bible as the authoritative and sufficient Word of God.

We are INTENTIONAL.
For the glory of God we are intentional in helping each other become more fully devoted followers of Jesus.

We are HOSPITABLE.
For the glory of God we selflessly love our neighbors by inviting them into our lives and sharing with them the hope of Jesus.

For the glory of God, we prioritize praying together, knowing we desperately need God.

Meet Pastor Phil & his Family

Pastor Phil, along with his wife Jessica and their four children—Malachi, Alenah, Arianna, and Maleah—answered the Lord’s call to Mississauga in January 2019. Before moving to Canada, Phil served as a pastor at Grace Baptist Church in Saint Charles, Missouri, USA. From 2019 to 2022, he faithfully served as the English Pastor at Middle East Baptist Church in Mississauga.

Married for 22 years, Pastor Phil and Jessica share a deep passion for ministry and are excited for what God is doing through Hope Valley Church, which officially launched on March 30th. They look forward to seeing lives changed by the power of the Gospel as they serve the Mississauga Valley neighborhood in this new chapter of ministry.
